What exactly does this remove?
Location (GPS coordinates), capture date/time, device model, and other EXIF metadata embedded in the photo file.
Does it change my original photo?
No. The original is never modified — Photo Privacy creates a separate, clean copy.
Does removing metadata reduce photo quality?
No. The photo is rewritten, not re-compressed, so there’s no quality loss.
What’s free, and what requires the one-time purchase?
The free version checks and cleans one photo at a time. A single one-time purchase unlocks batch cleaning for as many photos as you like. There is no subscription.
Is an internet connection required?
No. Everything happens on-device. Nothing is uploaded, ever.
Do you collect any data about me or my photos?
No. Photo Privacy has no analytics SDK and no account system — it can’t know what you clean even if it wanted to.
If something isn’t working
The map doesn’t show a location for a photo.
Some photos genuinely have no GPS data (e.g. location services were off when it was taken, or it was already stripped by another app/service). In that case there’s nothing to remove.
A cleaned photo won’t save.
Check Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Photo Privacy and make sure photo access is allowed.
The app won’t open, or it crashes immediately.
Force-quit and relaunch. If that doesn’t help, update iOS to the latest version, then contact us below.

You do not need to send us the photo itself.
Privacy
Photo Privacy does not collect any user data. All processing happens on-device; nothing is ever uploaded to a server. No account is required, and there are no ads or analytics SDKs.

Photo Privacy — サポート（日本語）
iPhoneで撮った写真は、撮影場所を記録しています。Photo Privacy は、その写真から何がわかるかを地図で見せ、ワンタップで消します。
使い方
- 写真を選ぶ
- 何が漏れるかを確認する（撮影場所を地図で、撮影日時、使用端末）
- ワンタップで削除 → きれいなコピーが保存されます（元の写真は変更されません）
よくある質問
具体的に何を消しますか？
位置情報（GPS）、撮影日時、端末情報などのEXIFメタデータです。
元の写真は変更されますか？
されません。元の写真はそのまま残り、別にきれいなコピーが作られます。
メタデータを消すと画質は落ちますか？
落ちません。再圧縮せずに書き直すため、画質の劣化はありません。
無料でできること・買い切りが必要なことは？
無料版は1枚ずつ確認・削除できます。買い切り1回で、何枚でも一括削除できるようになります。サブスクリプションではありません。
インターネット接続は必要ですか？
いいえ。すべて端末内で完結します。外部へのアップロードは一切ありません。
データは収集されますか？
されません。分析SDKもアカウント機能もありません。
うまく動かないときは
地図に位置情報が表示されない
もともとGPS情報を持たない写真もあります（撮影時に位置情報サービスがオフだった場合など）。その場合は削除する情報自体がありません。
削除後の写真が保存できない
設定 > プライバシーとセキュリティ > 写真 > Photo Privacy で、写真への許可が有効になっているか確認してください。
アプリが起動しない・すぐ落ちる
一度完全に終了し、再起動してください。改善しない場合はiOSを最新版に更新のうえ、下記までご連絡ください。

プライバシー
